Back after 1000 years!

Yes surpsingly it feels like 1000 years since I touched this blog. Hmm.. not much has happened... NOT!! So much stuff has happened over a span of maybe 4 - 6 months? I had the worse sem ever, and worse I do not mean class politics. I mean work.

Why would I call it the worse sem? Because tiring, I don't mind, but the feeling that the work is not good enough is bad. So you are tired, and burnout and thus the work is not good. So in the end you are tired and everything but there is no satifaction! SIGH!

BUT! I shall review my wrong doings and move on to next sem! that is why this holiday I am freeeee!! Yes, I decided not to participate in any more events for now, because I do need some rest to get back my momentum. This holiday is going to be pretty busy, because of all the things I've put off during school days/

Mundane things but still, stuff that needs to be done! Firstly, I have to fix my laptop! And clean out the fish tank, plus clean the room, sort out the bank statements, my files, and my work. ARGHH!!! All this errands. Got to complete it the week I come back from bangkok!

Yeaaaaa! I am going back again! It isn't as dangerous as everyone says, but still there are precautions to take. Got to get new clothes and all.

And lastly, 1B02. What a bad sem we went through. But hopefully no one is angry with one another. Makes year 1 look so carefree and nice, but there are tough times ahead so no matter how strained a friendship is, I do hope it stretches and bounces back again! Well I have packing to do!

Whaaaadaayaaa talking about LYL!?? okokok *excited*. You see, during year 2 semster 1, we merge with a new class and it was super awkward and everything. Then I tried to talk to them and I get one word syllabus answers and stuff, plus I thought one girl was gonna be horrible. and No one really returns your greetings.

So after halfway towards the semester I thought nothing could be done and we would just be like that for the rest of our Poly life but... NOOOO!!! It ain't going to happen!

Cause 2A04 is starting to change! I realise that the scary girl turned out of be like extremely nice and for the others who gave me one word syallabus are starting to chat ALOT, and not among their clique of friends but everyone!!!

*Proud class rep* Plus when I mass message the class, I'm getting more replies back LOL! Like TC, thanks and stuff which makes you really warm and fuzzy inside. Looks like we have a long way to go, but this is starting out to be a great great experience.

INSANELY HAPPY!!!!!!! YUPYUPYUP!!!

Why???? WHY???? BECAUSE RAGNA MANAGED TO BEAT THE EVIL BADDIE/Asshole!! Translation is, I've managed to defeat the enemy and continue on to the story of Blazblue!

*Huh.. what are you talking about?* Argh just go read the post below this one and you will know what I'm talking about. Ahhh... the feeling of a achievement. And how did I do it?!

In the Toilet while I was having my big tribal council meeting.

So during the meeting I decided to play one round, not hoping for any victory and feeling slightly depress. I swear I was in such aniticipation during the fight it was hard doing big business at the same time. I decided that instead of a head on attack, I will defend, and attack him when he came close. and guess what, I WON. I WONNNN!!!!!!! *jumps around in glee*. Do not worry, for I assure you my PSP had been sterillized with Detol wipes.

Anyway Imperial Treasure *which is a big chinese restaurant chain* opened their new outlet at Paragon! Which speciallizes in Peking duck. The one where they slice the roasted skin on the duck and wrap it up in some flour roll, awesome.

So Grandpa, mum and me trudged our way there and waited more than half an hour to get a table. During the waiting time, you usually doubt weather it is worth it or not. Plus crystal Jade is like opposite from them....tempting....

When we went in we were greeted by the sight of YOUR LEG BWAHAHAHHAAH!!..... jk, dun get gross out. Its just a deer's leg, A DEER'S LEG. If you squint and appreciate my lovely camera skills, you can make out the hoof jutting out. Imagined getting kick by it...... eating in..... =) But still, its abit weird having the deer's leg presented to you like that.

AND NO I DID NOT ORDER IT OKAY. So dun start "YanLin your next life you shall be born a deer and you will know how it feels.....!!!!"

Unlike their other branches where they just give you the skin and you can choose to bring the meat home, they give you a small portion of the meat and packed the rest for you. Duck heaven, which also means excersise hell for me later. UGHHHHH!!!!

Winter meleon ewww soup. Soup was nice, winter meleon is nice only to people who eats vegetables.



Gosh it has been a long time since I blogged about food, since I blogged actually. And now I've to get back to my drawing. I FEEEL LIKE BITING YOUR HEAD OFF!!! RAWR!

I would love to tell my mom that I had spent my time drawing and finishing my assignments, but NOOOO!!! I was busy playing my Game BLAZBLUE PORTABLE!! *Runs around house like a big jumbo jet*. I got sucked in into the storyline okay? EVEN IF YOU AREN'T A GAMER I KNOW YOU WILL UNDERSTAND MY PAIN! SO HEAR ME OUT

*crying* Wuu huu huuu T.T Do you know.... that I worked so hard training and learning combos and I've always overcome all the enemies that they threw to me. And everytime I defeated an enemy, the plot unfolds! And I'm at the ending, THE ENDING! BUT I CANNOT DEFEAT THE ENEMY THAT MEANS I CANNOT CONTINUE ON TO MY STORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Yes yes handsome guy, but also very evil called JIN. Apparently he was possess to chop off his brothers arm when he was only a few eyars old *ewww* but I like his blond hair =) His brother is below.....
This is Jin's brother. Why the white hair? Because he was dying and was saved by a vampire so he's like super powerful and stuff and can regenerate health. BUT I CAN'T DO THE COMBO THAT ALLOWS HIM TO REGENERATE HEALTH!!! WHYYY RAGNA!!! WHYYYY!!!! Why won't you just regenerate and let LYL continue on with the story. T.T Wuuu huuu huuu..... btw his name is Ragna.
Seeing this fella makes my blood boil, my heart sink and my fingers ache. THIS ASSHOOOLLEEE gave me so much trouble while playing the earlier parts of the game T.T Wuu huuu huuu. It was hard getting weak characters to fight him. This guy made me stay u till 3Am with my eyes popping out and my drool coming out from my mouth just trying to fight him T.T AND IT IS BECAUSE OF THIS GUY THAT MY RAGNA CANNOT DEFEAT AND HENCE CONTINUE THE VERY INTRIGUING PLOT! T.T

It is like at the ending of a novel the author died. SIGH. And right now I have lost my will to eat. I wish my brother was here, so that I can count on him to do the combos and stuff *depress*. There are still many more characters, and I wish I could introduce you to my favourite one, buuuut! No it would just bore you.


This is taken from yesterday when I felt so proud of myself for defeating one hard opponent so I went to do my work at a library below my house. It's really old and smells of old books. There was this ACS boy and St.Margrets girl studying there. I think I freaked them out when I started talking to myself while playing BlazeBlue. And no Douche, I'm considerate enough not to disturb them okay. My noise is MINIMAL. MINIMAAAAL!

And why the fugly pose? Because I was trying to draw a 3/4 view of a person, so I used my face. Ended up drawing a round face when my char was suppose to be handsome sharp face guy. *Depress* gotta lose some muscles.


Okay smelly I apologise for calling a douche. This is the event that happened TODAY! When I've finally tore myself away from BlazeBlue. Wesley my lecturer trying to be funny by taking a flash photo of us infront of the light reflecting curtain in the visual effects room.

I WAS IN SCHOOL BECAUSE THEY MADE PARENTS VISIT ON A SATURDAY T.T SIGH, and I was hoping to play blaz- I mean do finish some assignments this weekend. =(

My poor Ambassador group, reduced to such numbers because most cannot make it for today. But oh well, open house is the day where we will all come together again! Plus this was during lunch time, and they looked so happy!

My really awesome looking lunch, except for the green sludge at the side. But the food was really salty. Really... really salty.

This is Charlene's boyfriend doing some stunt for us n the visual effects room. Watching this made me sad, because I wanted to go diving or at least a beach holiday but I remembered that I have my pile of assignments and filming to do thanks to me playing Blazeblue all weekend.

My partner *which suppose to be Cali, but they seperated us because they were afraid I would eat her* WanRu. She's trying to be super woman. Thin people should really be stunt people, and people like me should just lie on the matress at the side to "overlook" the stunts.


Ahhh... I feeel much better after letting out all the blazeblue faustration. I still in a sad mood I don't think I can go back to play. I've played the stage like 3hours straight and still no progress. I had at one time, almost managed to kill the baddie, but kinda tripped and go killed again. I'm planning to go find Chris, Chad, Bobby or SOMEBODY to help me!!! SIGGGGGGHHHH

STICKY!

I thought I could do a quick update on whats going on, but I spent the last half an hour messing up the mess to find my SD card reader. And as I can't find it from its usual resting place, my first suspect is. THE BROTHER.

Yes, THE BROTHER. Because a day before he left, he asked me if he could take my card reader since the last one he took spoiled. And being the nicest sister in the world, I told him

"NO".

What?! I needed the card reader, since product friendly Sony Camera SD Cards cannot be slotted into the SD slots on laptops. And I bet all my candies he took it! and if I asked him he would reply :"But I asked you already!" And I would say :"I said No!" and then he would
reply:" Hehe..."

Nvm... I'll just let him go on this one since he's 7hours by flight away from here, across the ocean and near the ozone. Hope his college's dog bites his butt one day. Until then...... STICKY!


2 Guys (or more) from my school had set up a STICKY sweet shop on Campus! *floats away in untter bliss*. I think it is for some assignment... but man I hope they'll be there for a little while longer. I shall support them!!!! *counts money in wallet* I've spend loads on sweets and I feel really bad for my liver, stomach, pancreas, intestines, bowels, wallet and whatever that is breaking down in my body.

So After this batch, I would abstain from sweet stuff for a week *bet you're thinking yahyahyahyahyahyah saaay onli* =(

Aside from sticky, I bought NERDS Too! And fruitips, skittles, All Naturals, Kit Kat, Kinder Beuno. ARGGGGHHHHH!!!!!

Laid it on my animation tutorial. Says alot about NERDS. I just realized that NERDS are from WONKA, you know, Charlie and the chocolate factory? YUP! Wonka Factory. So if there's a Wonka Factory, there has to be a real Willy Wonka right? RIGHT?!!

I asked my classmates if there was, and most told me Yes. But then again, Janielson also told me Uranus was a country. But makes you wonder.... wow.. Willy Wonka is real.

I have alot of Assignments that is due, so I did what any sane person would do, and that is to.... not do anything at all. Just for today, I wanna take a rest. JUST ONE DAY. Although I know I'm going to regret it, but seriously, mood is down to 0%. SIGH.

PS: Captains ball match got canceled because too many people joined and we were put on waiting list. DARRRRNNN!! Is my month gonna get any worse?

WHATS UP THEN?

My Fudge (Fujitsu Laptop) has finally died on me, on the day before I was to hand up my assignments. But thank god it gave me some warning, like wheezing and spluttering before it decide to take a long vacation. Files are all backed up, except for that one assignment I had to hand up the next day FML.

Problem : On starting, it makes this BEEEEEEEEPPPPP sound, like someone just died. And the screen doesn't start up to windows, its just left hanging like that. So after doing some reading up, I decided to try this out.

SOLUTION: Take fudge, and wrap it the keyboards up with clothings/blankets and switch it on, leave the monitor up. Doing this makes sure the heat doesn't escape and sorts of give your fudge some Suana Treatment. Let it simmer for about 40mins, and yes I used my winter scarve, towel and thick blanket on it. It looks so happy.

So, we'll see what happens after 40mins! MEANWHILE..................


AT THE AIRPORT!


As you know my bro was back during his winter holidays, and he stayed for about 2 weeks plus. But now he's going back, and its a new term for him. So we saw him off at the airport.

I really really wanna get out of Singapore. This is terminal 3, so the flights are international, and man... what I would give to just get on the plane and fly everywhere! ANYWHERE! Except to vietnam, and maybe China? My feelings to leave SG was so strong I told my grandpa I felt like just buying a ticket and go off.

Which he took for real, because he asked me if I had school, and I said yea, and he said then how am I going to go off? Then I told him I'm so tired I don't mind skipping school, and of course I got scolded LOL. But I could tell he wanted to get out of here as well.


I took this picture at Crowne Plaza Hotel, and I thought it was a swimming pool, but they did some mirror magic there. Pretty smart.

Bro dreading going back to Aussie (But I know he secretly likes studying), Yeye not dreading anything, because my grandpa is awesome and he doesn't Dread, like superman. And me dreading that I cannot pass through the departure gate without being tackled down by the security guards.

WOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Everyone was feeling in the good mood, so that means ICE CREAM! Good mood = No one is feeling fat. We were at earl swensens or whatever it is called because I can't even read the super crazy cursive. I usually just call it Swensens Eagle, hey sounds better right?!








AND SOOO!! After 40mins, I tried that crazy trick that I mention at the start of my blog on fudge. Power switching off my computer, I rebooted it up again and TADDAAAA!!!

Fudge is back~~ Back again~ The keyboard was insanely hot. Like the plastic was gonna melt. Anway, if you have the same problem as mine, well, you know what to do now! Alright I'm gonna backup all my files, get my project out, and Fudge is gonna be sent for servicing. I should stop bombarding him with so many things next time.

Okay I've no idea why I put such a title. Maybe I'm feeling so full of energy after a loooong while! And it has to be due to the two events coming up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, life has been pretty much less than normal kinda normal lately.

My normal life is still fine, no stress, loads of crazy things. And the less than normal normal is just pure mundane. Go school, rush for assignments... facebook, sleep. But I feel things are picking up slowly!!

The last few months have been hectic because I had to be around a few locations to film stuff, and although it was fun meeting people and all and bonding with my filming crew.... my holidays were practically burned.

POWERUP! = STUDY = HOLIDAY! = POWERUP! = STUDY

This is how I run. But it was more like POWERUP! = POWERUP! = POWERUP! =POweerrrrr....up..... *collaspe*

Nothing interest me anymore, I'm just going through my motion. BUT!! NO! I've found something to live for again! Which I will tell you right after this!

I'm excited for the first one because its overnight, outdoors with the whole clique! Except poor prawns would risk their life for the sake of our bonding, but thus I shall make sure they are treated as humanely as possible. And the phase of our pubbing and going western eateries are OVER! *everyone breathes a sigh of relief*

We seem to be going into the Kampong phase now, I'm not surprise if they suggest camping in Ubin, but you can count me out for that one.

Besides this Prawn Bonding, is the second one that is getting me reaaaally hyped up! CAPTAINS BALL GAME!! Though I still don't know what the details are, I hope I can play some ball. Why Captains ball? Because you dun run as much as basketball, no dribbling of the ball, which I'm horrible at, and It brings back so much memories. *sniffs*

I'll be teaming up with people I dun know, which is bad, because I'm bad at remembering names, but oh well new team new people to learn about then. Well gtg, a few more weeks and I'll be freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee *flys away*

I CONFESS

#1 - The reason why I dun put dates on my blog is because I dun blog daily. I only blog like 2 weeks after events. So I end up with alot of stale entries, and when I get inspired I spam all in one go. So my dates are all wrong. Its to make you think I actually blog have time to blog O_O.

#2 - I already signed up for my driving but I'm scared I have no time for the exam. So I haven't booked a date.

#3 - I've no money left for the month of May & June

#4 - I've not been exercising for 3 months.

New changes

Okok, I can explain alright! I would love to just customize my own blog skin, but it is just too time consuming. So I decided to just get one. My idea was to have a blog skin that is deep... mature... and plain.

But I came across THIS skin, and I saw this bee. This bee is so spastic I just said to myself "HECK IT YANLIN! JUST USE THIS DAMN SKIN!!!". Ok I admit the bee is a little distracting, butbut but but but!!!

The bee's name is Waffles, the dog's name is Blackie and the snail is just gross so, his name will be Gross. I know, people say I'm very creative in making up names.

The entry space is so damn small, but for the sake of the bee, I'll accept it. Alright I'm going to sleep, and I have to stop sleeping so early morning/late. Gonna get sick again.

I realised that when I get excited talking to someone, like whom I never seen in a long time, I tend to talk really fast, really spastic, and I do jump talk.

jump talk? Yea, its a name I give to my insane random-ness. But I try to keep it at a minimum because people find it tiring to talk to me when I do that LOL!

A typical Yan Lin jump talk goes like this -

Just the other day I met Andrew Yeo to finally pass him the Nougats, and collect my chocolates that he bought from switzerland.

Which I feel guilty about, because my policy is NOT TO TRUST ANDREW YEO TO DO NICE STUFF FOR YOU.

So I thought he wouldn't actually get me anything during his trip in Europe, but he did! And I got him a miserable piece of Nougat LOL!

Which melted and almost decayed, because we couldn't find a day to meet up. He doesn't wanna meet me at my place, and I don't wanna meet HIM at HIS place, so yea.

Plus we are both lazy and stubborn people.

*skeptical* Maybe he got this waffle from MUSTAFA or something LOLOL! but it looks real and it taste awesome.

Therefore, I shall say this, 'THANKS ANDREW!!!!! AND I WILL GET YOU SOMETHING MORE AWESOME THE NEXT TIME I TRAVEL OK?"

Aside from the awesome chocolate waffles, the sad part of the day was when my M.A.C blusher fell apart! NUUUUUU!!!

It dropped, and it was like slow motion when I tried to catch it

"No...o..o....o...oooo.o.o...o.ooo..." Drops and splats. And everything fell apart.

Farewell my blusher, for you chose to commit suicide on this day. I will always remember you and as for now I have to use another one. SIGH



Mum came home with delectable cakes today, and not just any cakes, they are CUPCAKES! They are from this bakery in Kular Lumpur, malaysia.

Totally agree man, and the packaging was so nice!

The cupcake wasn't just Oh-so-boring kinda cupcake, it had CHOCOLATE OOZING FROM IT WITH EVERY BITE. Literally chocolate coming out from it, melted chocolate!!!!

I tried to take a picture but I guess you can't really see it. Took my 30 secs to finish this. It was so awesome, and I took another one immediately.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY DEAR FRIEND JOANNA!!!



Heh heh, the two doos doos that planned and organized it LOL! It was a rough week, new classes and all, so I was really looking forward to this outing!

It was Joanna's birthday and the best part was that we were able to celebrate it on the day itelf. That busy girl took a train all the way from RP to Marina Square!

AHHHH!! BUFFET!!!! HAHAHA! We didn't go seoul garden, but we went to YUKI & YAKI something something restaurant. It is in Marina square.

I've always laughed the the name, but oh well, it was great as a meeting point an birthday celebration.

Oh the glorious food, and best! IT WAS JO'S BIRTHDAY!!!

Joanna is oldest among four of us, followed by me, bernice and Sarah. But when it comes to the kid status, it would be Joanna, as the biggest kid, followed by me, then bernice and the very practical Sarah HHAHHAH!!
