FOOD AFFAIR!!

Okay, I've seperated this entry into 2 parts. The first part would just be my face and the next part would be the "food section", since this is basically a foodie post!

So anyway, I went to watch THE PROPOSAL. Awesome movie, in my opinion.


WHAT THE. ION. Well, I'll have you know that ION is interesting, even if you have no money to buy anything and bored out of your wits to do something, HAH!

And there ARE shops that cater to young adults, such as...

BREAD SOCIETY

HAHA

Joking, we're not that pathetic. Okay there's Zara and uh, Fox? There is also

BURGER KING HAHAHAHAH!

See, ION is affordable. You just gotta know where to loook for stuff.


So anyway, for lunch we decided venture into this place called R burger. If you're on DIET, GO THERE. Super healthy burger with super healthy drink.

The best part is, I felt REAL GOOD after the meal. It's just right you know. $5.50 for a burger and drink

Their burger menu consists of:
Ume burger - Chicken patty with Japanese Plum sauce
Chicken terriyaki - Not bad.

So the day before, I went to Forum Galaria, which is next to Hilton Hotel orchard, the one with Toy 'R' Us.

The japanese restaurant we frequent was having a promotion 1-for-1 thing. So we ate there. The food is great *bias*. Been going there since I was 5.

YES! R Burger. Can be found in the basement "food hall" of ION, where Old Chang Kee is. It's a small outlet, with a few tables only.

something different from fast food anyway! You don't get yucky oily bad gut feeling after eating this.

See, even the wrapping is so style. You can keep the wrapper to wrap your friends present. Da, who doesn't. (I didn't ok. I still have my subway wrappers)

HAHA! Okay, if you choose a mini combo meal you get a drink of your choice. Well, I chose BITTER ORANGE. I thought the name was pretty cool...

BUT ITS TOTALLY BITTER. Sort of like fragrance tea with ZERO sugar. Come to think of it, it IS FRAGRANCE TEA with ZERO SUGAR.

But I didn't mind. They have Milk tea, green tea, jasmine tea etc...

$5.50 for a drink and burger. Hmmmm...

AS FOR DINNER:


We went to ION's Xin Wang Hong Kong cafe. I tried the Mui Fan. Expensive and not very nice. But oh well, good enough for dinner!


Just the cost of food in orchard bled me dry.

NAFA concert

IF POLY IS HARD. FORGET ABOUT NAFA.


Me and bro went out to catch a weekly concert performed by the talented students of NAFA! And of course Deborah was playing at 2nd violin.

Do you know they practice MINIMUM 8hrs a day???!!!! Because if you ain't better than average, you can kiss your cert goodbye!

wow.


Usually NAFA holds such concerts every week, so the students can practice and gain experience in performing. If you ask me, it just seems like another lecture class to them haha.

HI CHER.... I'M BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!! *SCREAMS*



My school has CHANGED. They did some renovations that some teachers didn't approve of, but OH WELL!

The best part was when I saw my Junior Keith.

Me:"HI KEITH!!!!! *flash my big white smile*

Keith:"UUUUUWWAAAAHHHHH!!! *runs away*"

Okay fine, I admit, I tormented him for his sec 1-3 life, and when he thought O's finally got rid of me, I came back again to torment him for the 2nd time.

Well SORRY! I didn't know that I caused so much mental scarring in his secondary school life. Heh heh heh heh.... can't wait to go back soon. This time I'll be sure to give him a big huggy.


The basketball court where I spent most of my time getting tortured in TAF club. Like they always say, Spell TAF backwards, it becomes

This dessert store at Heren basement is awesome to the max. It's next to shokudo, you should go try it.

Anyway, Me and Bernice met out to catch "Final Destination". It's about people cheating death and death finally whooping their asses at the end.

BUT, this is different because... ITS IN 3D. Yes. My feedback? Well, 3D for such a movie is just plain awesome. Word of advice, don't wear your specs. It's dead uncomfortable.

You could see cars flying towards you, a screwdriver flying straight to your eye and stuff. HAHA!! They funny part was that it was so real, I flinched and jerked in my seat at scary moments.

Well, there isn't much changes, only the header, renewed links, and other teeny wee stuff. I got a heart attack when I couldn't upload photos on blogger, but I just used ctrl + F5 taught by Shahrul.

Recently, after looking trough the genting videos, I've an inclination to do videos instead of blogging. SO! my first experiment is going to be while I'm overseas! Hopefully the hotel has a computer where I can upload my video.

Yes! I finally tried rollerblading for the first time, taught by Shi Hui and Nigel. Though I feel like a complete idiot, having 10year olds glide pass me while I wobble on my skates.


HAHA I'm trying to look like I'm in control but I'm actually hanging on for dear life for this picture.



And I'm proud to present, my awesome battle scars, accumulated from falling my butt, but not on my face. Thank god I have a fat ass.

Thanks SHI HUIand NIGEL for patiently teaching me the arts of gliding. Without you two, I might most probably wobble and fall into the canal, get flush out to the sea, and sadly hit by a huge ship.

And Thanks ALEX, for letting me cling on to you, violating you and towing me back to the skate station HAHA.

Finally the BBQ! Though I had to take a rest because my whole body was aching terribly and all I could think of was BED.

starbucks sadness

I LOVE STARBUCKS


Yes I do!

But I had a pretty horrible starbucks experience today. Lately I've been addicted to Java Chip Frap thanks to Sarah, so I stamped my craving by getting one at Starbucks Holland Village.

And woe is me, I got a leaky JavaChip Frap.

How do you get a Leaky JavaChip Frap? It is when the person overfills the cup and just puts a cap on it.


You can see up there, the cap is supppose to be like that, clean and nice. Except for some water vapours.


And thus you get the horrific drippy cap. That not only drips JavaChip Frap all over your arms, you get it on your stuff too. Jeez.

Plus the javachip was done pretty badly. It's suppose to be chunky chips, like the one I had at Great World city, but for HV, they over blended the chips. Sigh.

Disappointing, considering the fact that I love htis drink because of its chunky chips.

And DARRRNNN!!! By the time I realised my JavaChip Frap was leaking all over me and not just water vapour, I was waiting for the bus =(

Yes, Rach and me were slogging for our assignment, so she stayed over at my place, since it was pretty near school.

AND we had CHEEEESYYY SNACKS to keep us awake during the early hours of morning hahha.


I had the balls, while she had the rings. HAH RACHEL! SEE WHO HAVE BIGGER BALLS NOW!


I know, finger licking good. MMMMMMMMMM Yummmmmmmyyy. I didn't wash my hands after scratching my butt anyway.

SP Guild House

Calm Before the Storm


After 6 years of running in the field next door, or getting tortured at the running track also next door......

I've finally stepped foot into the awesome grounds of the SP Guild House!

Just everything you need to unwind. Swimming, Gym, bowling, Pool Table, Karaoke and Spa. There's also a restaurant there and the food is pretty resonable.


Anyway the view was nice so we decided to have our semi-class picture after a long time. The others were out there somewhere.


Racing Manfred in Datona, and getting my ass whooped 2 secs before we finished. HELLO! IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE!!??

Like, I was leading half way through the race and suddenly Manfred Zipped by in his FUGLY RED CAR *yes I'm a sore aching pus filled loser* 2secs before finish time!

So close to losing, yet so far from winning. Sheeesh!


There was time crisis too which I played with Rach.

I could aim, I could shoot, but I couldn't dodge. oh SORRY, fat people issues.


NOW this is what makes the GuildHouse awesome. The swimming pool right smack in the centre of it all gives the whole place a nice feel haha.


Well thats about all. And no, you don't have to pay a cent to get in, but you get bled dry when you're inside. No difference.

You can't also wear slippers in, but if you go in a group, you just have to stand right infront of the counter woman, she'll be too lazy to bend major over the counter to look at your feet haha!

Yes I'm using a new font too, but I'm gonna change to the old one. This one is just way too small
