Boys can sometimes be so annoying!

Especially one like my brother. Since his release from army, I've been tormented non-stop! Its like his 2 years of Fat sister jokes all bottled up when he's in army comes pouring out.

This is a typical day from my tormentor. I was trying to blog while he distracted me because he wanted me to check out this youtube video. I know, BROTHERS, ARRRGHHHH!!!

So I decided to take a video and shoo him away. Which I was sucessful, till he came flying back 5mins later.

Sarah had some BBQ chicken from hell. Yea it is so hot that I actually think Bernice would love it. You see, Bernice is a very unique individual, that if given chili padi, bread and butter, she will make chili padi sandwich.

Stuffed Chicken wing, that is pretty much a normal chicken wing. Till you dip it in this honey sauce that is slightly sour...

Yes, my friends, from normal chicken wings, it has suddenly become, AWESOME chicken wings. Just by this small portion of sauce. Yup.


And this is my main course for the day!!!!!!! TOM YAM HOR FUN. Yes I am a sucker for Tom Yam Hor Fun, and this is the first time I ever tried something like this.

oh man, 21yr olds really know how to throw a birthday party. The party literally felt like a club, with people outside the doorway, in the hallway, room, living room. THEY WERE EVERYWHERE!!

We had to "EXCUSE!!!" to get to different parts of the house AND THE MOM COOKED ALL THE FOOD THERE LIKE !@$^%#@&*!!!

I'm a sucker for homecook food, and the mom let me take some home =) BERNICE I'M DOING YOU AN AWESOME FAVOUR OKAY! HAHAHAH

Oh yea, and the theme for the party is WHITE OR RETRO! Which I totally failed and instead looked DORKY. DORRRK!!

BAD DAY

HOW IT BECAME THE WORST MORNING/DAY OF MY VACATION.


prologue: I was suppose to meet my mum at 8.30am in Tanglin mall, to have a morning walk in Botanic garden, after her 7am Yoga.


7.15am - woke up feeling like crap from sleeping at 2am. Bad bad weather...

7.30am - got dress but can't find my bag.

7.45am - walk to mom's room, CRAP... MOM STILL SLEEPING. NOOOO!!

7.50am - Mom said no more walking. Went back to sleep.

9.00am - woken up by mom. Go for breakfast at O'briens in at Jelita Cold Storage.

9.07am - Avoided dog poo but dog poo went into my Birkenstock and my barefoot stepped on the dog poo.

9.11am - touch brown stuff to see if its dog poo. Smelled like dog poo. Now fingers smelled like dog poo.


9.25am - washed hands and ate sandwich. Felt disgusted because I ate sandwich with fingers that touched dog poo.


*side note* YOU MUST TRY THE SANDWICH SHI HUI! It is stuffed with eggs, crunchy fresh veggies and tomatoes!


9.40am - dropped egg in coffee.



10.30am - Came back. Splitting headache from double sleeping in the morning.

3.00pm - went out to buy stuff for this fishies...

AND DROP MY FREAKING PERSONAL HORN MOUTH PIECE. AND IT CHIPPPED!
Goodbye 70 bucks.

3.10pm - at fish shop. Realised not enough money. Sheesh. walk a distance to the nearest ATM.

3.20pm - Went to buy Pau. No Veggie Pau. Sigh

3.30pm - missed all the buses.

4.05pm - arrive home. Mom wanted to relocate pond. So much work I think I lost 20 pounds.

5.00pm - Hello Constipation!

And thus followed by other bad events which would take very long for me to list them down.

At this point of time, I just crawled back into bed and spent my whole night reading books. I did not step out of bed till the next day.

Sad sad day. I hate sleeping two times in the morning. ARRGHHH!!!

The story goes:

We were all browsing books in Kino when mum complained she was starving. But we just had lunch 3 hours ago, so we just thought she was just craving for food.

But it got really scary because my mom started sweating and looking really REALLY bad. So in fear of our mom fainting from hunger, thus leading to a police report of parent abuse, we went to the nearest cafe......

BUTTERSCOTCH BANANA CHEESECAKE. How wonderful can it get!! I didn't expect them to present the cake in this way, since I just chose it off "the-shelf".

AND, OH MAN. This is the greatest cheesecake I've come across so far. The thick sweet butterscotch went well with the mildly sweet cheesecake.......oooooh myyy gaawddd!!!!!

I think I died and went to fat people heaven.

And..... TADAAAA!!! My Toffee Cappuccino! It isn't so sweet that it hurts your throat and it just goes sooo well with the cake. I love coffee club. Yup.

MId auntumn Fest

Welcome Mid Autumn festival. Where it's a time for MOONCAKES!

Traditional mooncakes are dry and full of lotus paste. Hence, I do not eat them.

But this year, is different, because we moved away from tradition and bought awesome, to-crave-for, MOONCAKES.




We had a "tasting" affair in my granny's house. I tried cheesecake, jackfruit, mint, chocolate, mango and liqueur.

AND I WANT MORE!!!!!!!!!!! THY MOONCAKES CANNOT SATISFY MY NEEDS!!!

This, is another version of a mooncake, with its soft snow skin and chocolate mousse inside. YES.

So we tried these machines and at least we got a toy =) and that made me happy.



So back to the real deal of the outing. We decided to board the flyer! since its only $10. Student price. HAH!

Would I like to go again. Yes. Why?

Because got air-con inside ok. And the weather was freaking hot.


AND FYI, THE FLYER COULD MOVE EVEN WITH ME ON IT. HAHAHA!! SUCK IT IN DEEEEEP!

I came home at 12 plus, shock to see this at my corridor.

Seems like some lucky person caught an unlucky rat! I've never seen a rat trap literally catch a rat, but so you have it!!

Okay, tomorrow is my official rest day. Next week will be busy meeting people and giving them their stuff, then I'll be flying off the Sabah for 5 days!

Public speaking

WHERE THE HECK HAVE I BEEN??!!

Summary:

I've been to school! Yes I know, define all laws of LYL, because the only building I try to stay away from during holidays, is school.

So anyway, this whole week I have been in room with 19 others, from other courses and other classes in DMIT.

We spent a total of 16 unromantic hours, learning public speaking and smooth talking, plus presentation skills.

It sort of goes like 1000 students plus in DMIT *my school name*, and 100 chosen for this ambassador thing, then 20 out of 100 are chosen again to be Ambassadors of Ambassadors.

Yeaa.......

So 20 of us used these 4 days to plan out the whole school tour, for the next Gen, and of course the 500 parents that will be coming in on 31st Oct.

20 students, 500 parents.

So I may have to bring around 25 adults, ohh maan..

I told myself, if this workshops gets gay *like they play some stupid games, ice breaker* I'm so gonna leave.

But the most amazing thing is, I didn't mind hanging around the other 19 Ambassadors!


In a span of 16 hours, we have to promote other courses, and I had to prepare a tour to bring people to the games development lab.

Freaking 22 Xbox360's ok. Donated by Microsoft, dang. Wish they would give me one.

Anyway the picture up there is....

THE RECORDING STUDIO!!!!

And I know Shahrul would totally love it, so I took a picture for him. They let us sing, and using sound mixers and everything, they made our voices sound nicer.

This is from the other side of the room. There are so much awesome things to say about this studio, like the whole lab and a studio is worth 1 mil.

And we have 3.

Okay enough, I'm doing this stupid promotion thing HAHAH!





This is our visual studio, where I got to play with the invisibility cloak *harry potter* and they even got Hogswart as a background!!

This is space, and we used the cloak to hide our bodies.

The last two days were spent bringing the lecturers of DMIT around the school. It was more of a rehearsal for the upcoming events.

I thought I was just going there to learn public speaking, but I got into a whole lot more responsibilities.

Oh well.



SOOOOOO we made it out alive!!! A group picture with our instructors, but they were so friendly we just called them by their names haha.

At the start of the training, we didn't know each other, since we were from different courses. And this is really interesting.

We just mixed around and stuck to one another. Next thing we knew, we were all from the same courses! With almost a similar personality!

The "cool" group

Comprising of DMAT *Music Audio people*. Simply, the musicians. Even Melvin, their group instructor is studying Music, lit and history in University.

Its really funny, because the DMAT people started off as aloof people, and well they were all wearing black or dark colours hahha.

So they got nicknamed the "cool" group of people.

I got to work with them, and it was easy to get along since we speak a common language, be it, Band or instruments.

So they showed me all the awesome things they do here. And I've to say this Shahrul, I think you may or may not love it here!

The "Touch me I'll hit you group"

The name says it all! They are pretty much quiet people, so..... yea Hahah!

Oh and they range from People in DIT, DISM, etc. *If you don't get the short forms... TOO BAD!! HAHAHAHAHAHA*

AND LASTLY.... THE "HAPPY" GROUP!

I know, so bias, increase the font when I'm introducing my group HAHAHHAHH!! Daamn they were fun to be around with for these 4 days.

The funny thing was that everyone wore bright colours, like red, green, pink and orange. And everyone is so bubbly and accepting!

Eric was our instructor, and the guy who literally ran the whole show.


All in all, the 3 instructors with everyone in the DDM group and some from the "Touch me, I'll hit you" group. HAHA!

It was really honour being the first batch of Ambassadors to go under such training, and the scripts we draft out by ourselves, will be used by the next Generation of ambassadors.

When school reopens, a new sem and school tours to handle!
