1pt of FRIDAY- AFTERNOON

A quote by a group of DMAT (Diploma in Music & Audio) students. I thought that was nice. Hahha.

SO ANYWAY! It has been 3 weeks since we all went back to school, but thank god the assignments are building, but not crashing down on us, so we had enough time to, well, enjoy.


Everyday is a good day, but well today was awesome because lessons ended early and I managed to catch two movies in a day!

The first one was JENNIFER'S BODY which was pretty scary and gross. I hate Horror, so halfway through the movie I had to cower under the jacket with Bee Hong.

Which I realised, the jacket belonged to Ben. OOPS! HAHAHHAHAHAHAH!!

THE GREAT AWESOME POPCORNS!!!!!

THE CATHAY BASEMENT. Is where you should buy your popcorn. Because firstly, this is not like any other Tom, Dick, Harry, Mary, Jane popcorn you find at your cinemas!

It's like they hand brush each popcorn with caramel! Every single one of them. Plus it is really crispy! And it was still semi-crispy after 24hrs. I know gross, but I fed it to my bro HAHAHHAH!!!

2nd part of Friday - NIGHT


COFFEE CLUB. DINNER. Sometimes we eat at the foodcourt, but other times, we eat at nice places. Thats the life of a Common teenager Haha.

But well today was "THE OTHER TIMES" so we got to eat at Coffee Club! I am fat and I feel fat =(


My vanilla iced coffee and hot fudge at the bottom. Which in the end isn't very hot because of the ice on top =(

Sarah had prawn pasta, you know with the olive oil and HERBS. Ugh hahahha.

=) Bernice is going to pull out four wisdom tooth's next Friday, and that made her really scared and emo.

DON'T WORRY BERNICE!! YOU WON'T :

1)Wake up half way during the operation
2)die through too much lost of blood
3)Not wake up because they use too much anesthetic

How did she come up with such nonsense? I think it's too much twilight and Edward Cullen. Plus reading all sorts of horror stories from people's blog.

But anyway, good luck! We will be there for you when you wake up!!


My seafood Lasagna. Is it nice? Yes, but too much seafood gave me bad stomach problems.

After the delicious food by Coffee Club, Taka, we went to catch the Michael Jackson movie.

THE MICHAEL JACKSON MOVIE IS FANTASTIC! REALLY!!

I am not a hardcore fan of Michael Jackson, but I've heard his songs. So when Sarah told us to go watch it, I was abit reluctant.

But I DO NOT HAVE ANY REGRETS NOW.

THE MOVIE IS NOT A DOCUMENTATION OF HIS LIFE OR A BIOGRAPHY. GET IT?

IT IS FOOTAGE'S OF HIS REHEARSAL BEFORE HE DIED!

They had rehearsals before the actual concert, and well, it was filmed for MJ's music Library. All new scenes and footage's.

When I watched the movie, I didn't think of all the scandals and other rubbish that went with it. All I saw was just this music genius and how awesome he really is.

When the movie ended, Sarah, me and Bernice just sat there. Silence. No one moved to get up all beckon each other to leave, like we always do. We just sat there for sometime.


IF YOU LOVE HIS MUSIC. GO WATCH IT. I DON'T USUALLY TALK ABOUT THE MOVIES I WATCH. BUT IF I'M DOING THIS. ITS BECAUSE I DON'T WANT YOU TO MISS OUT ON SOMETHING THAT IS SO FANTASTIC.

Moving on.......


YAY! I miss those days when Disney used to show 2D animation films like Lion King, Beauty & the Beast, Lady and the Tramp etc. etc.

So when Bernice and I saw this film, we were damn happy. Hahha, Disney fans you know. I love Disney shows because I know everything will be alright in the end Haha.


HAHAHAHH!! We were supposed to be kissing the frog but we ended up kissing the princess thanks to camera angle =(


Simple stuff you do with friends sometimes just makes life really worth it haha.

THE NEXT DAY

These are the popcorns I ate. Can you see how they are nicely evenly coated with caramel? Hahah. Makes me crave for some right now!


In the afternoon I met up with Cali for some discussion and we had STARBUCKS! Yes, I love starbucks and yet I'm having my affair with Coffee club HAHAHA!

Christmas is in the air!!!!!!!! I think end of the years are really my happiest time of the year. Firstly, christmas is coming, I love the month December plus New year is around the corner.

But end of the years are when I have to watch out for cold drinks. Because the weather turns really wet and cold. So I get my Asthma's during that period. ARGGHHH!!

BUT, I had the Starbucks Christmas Special. The peppermint Mocha. It is nice, but well, it gets too Jia Lat if you drink too much. I've yet to try and others!

And the cups have changed too!!


ALRIGHT ENOUGH TALK AND TO THE FOOD PART! Hahahahha!

"why your blog is mostly about food...?"

BECAUSE FOOD IS MY LIFE!! YES IT IS!!!

And not because I'm fat. It is because I think food is really exciting. So many different new taste and well it makes me happy.


Apple crumble cheesecake. Shared with Cali. It's always good to share the fats. Spread the love you know.

Starbucks cakes are really nice, big and creamy. Plus it is so full of goodness you kinda forget how empty your wallet becomes just for this slice of life.

WET MARKET

TODAAAAAY!!!! I went out with Grandpa to buy fish for the family, at the wet market.

Although everyone says my generation are the people that shops at cold storage. But you know, I think when you reach a certain age, your wet market brain cell switches on.

Yup. No need to worry kids. We will all soon love to shop at wet markets!!

Anyway, too much of western food, so I shall introduce..... CHINESE FOOD!!!


FIRST DISH. HAhahha, Pork Knuckle in jelly or jellied Pork knuckle. It has to be served cold so they put ice on it. Anyway its a Teochew dish. ANYONE WANNA TRY????!!!!

I think everyone has probably eaten this before. You know, goose liver in popiah roll, and they cut it up. Yea... YEAAAAA....!!!!

Sea cucumber and meat in the middle. When I was at Sabah, someone snorkeled and found a sea cucumber. So she placed it on the table and it was moving and crawling.

You can get a high price for a sea cucumber in Singapore. So I plan to go back there one day and hunt for the cucumbers MUAHHAHAHHAHAH!!!


Siew mai served next to red bean. Like sweet and salty. The red bean dumpling taste like Mochi. Soft and sticky with the red bean flowing out.


Anyway, after eating lunch we proceeded to the wet market to buy stuff. Chinatown Wet Market.


We passed by this stall selling fresh herbs. You know those herbal tea your mum makes for you, all black, brown and bitter. Some actually do taste nice.

But well, this store in Chinatown Wet Market sells it fresh. Different from those packet dried herbs you buy from the supermarket.

Anyway, I took photos of the PEANUTS! Hahaha.


The weather was awfully hot, so we went to have some dessert. I've never tried this, but its called

TAIWAN RED RUBY DESSERT

Its coconut milk and red ruby. The ruby doesn't have any taste, but the texture is nice. Like soft gummies hahha.

But too much coconut milk sometimes give you a feeling you are gonna have a heart attack anytime soon. =(

OUR FIRST DUTY!


As ambassadors we had to promote the other courses in our media building. So what is the trick? Split yourself into many parts!

So I pretended that I was a student studying in Games Development. And thanks to Kulbir plus all the gamers in the class, I was able to get ample information about games.

and thus the same for the other courses.

The groups we led were pretty much like zombies, because they were from different schools, thus very SHY. But it took a few tours to actually relax them abit haha.

Getting along with them were fine. They were 14, so it gave me a chance to be 14 too! YAY! AHAHAHAHAH!


Not even half of the Ambassadors, because the others were on duties for other days. But yea, some of them.

At the start, it was awkward and scary, but you pretty much get used to it. And it was great that I had cali as Partner Hahahha!


Chery, Wan Ru and Me. Chery is awesome, she is from the music course. We should have smacked those people behind.

But instead of physical torture and violence we asked them to join in. SO meet Asher and my partner Calissa.

Sometimes I think I drive Cali up the wall she will abandon me as partner and leave me alone to die in the hands of cruel 14 year olds.


At this point of time I think cali wanted to stab a knife through my head. Because I kinda screwed up the last tour.

SORRY CALI! I CAN LET YOU STAB MY HEAD.

BUT THAT MEANS YOU WILL BE ALONE FOR TOURS HENCEFORTH. MUAHHAHAHHA!!






That is probably 5 days of my life. The other 3 days are coming up. I will blog about my drama class one day. But lately I've been leaving class early for tour duties.

Which causes my drama teacher to growl at me. I fear she may rip my body in half and use it as
props.

Well, I have to morning call Sarah, so going to sleep now! GOODNIGHT!
